How many bundles do I need?

The question everyone asks before a sew-in — and the one that costs you a ruined install if you guess wrong. Bundles look thinner as the length goes up, so longer hair needs more to stay full. Set your details below.

at 20 for a natural, leave-out sew-in. Shorter lengths stay full with fewer bundles.

Read this before you order

  • This is a starting point, not a rule. Density, your head size, and the look you’re after all move the number.
  • Double-drawn wefts need fewer; single-drawn need more. Double-drawn hair is the same thickness root to tip, so it stays full with one less bundle. Cheap single-drawn hair thins at the ends — you’ll want the extra.
  • Closures and frontals are sold separately from bundles — budget for the piece on top of your bundle count.
  • When you’re between numbers, buy the extra bundle. Running short mid-install is far worse than having one spare to save for next time.

Now find a seller who actually ships what they claim.

Knowing your bundle count is step one. Inches checks where sellers really ship from before you spend.
